Re: NFA Engraving in PA
So I just got back from taking another one of my SBR's over to Laserworx in Pottstown. Again I have to say they exceeded expectations. I was taking in my 300 Blackout SBR in for NFA engraving and while I was there started thinking while here why not add a little something extra to it I mean the whole right side of my mag well is a blank canvas. Here's what they did for me.

For those not in the know it's the Galactic Empire from Star Wars.
They even threw me a pretty cool shirt

These guys are super cool, very gun friendly (they were even saying they are starting up a completely seperate website dedicated to firearms engraving) and very accommodating (take care of you on short notice, walk ins and even help with design ideas)
They are also very involved with cleaning up Pottstown and its growth. You really feel the sense of community with all the store owners in the area.

Re: NFA Engraving in PA
I used Steve Miska from Signature Engraving(119 South Fraser St, State College 814-234-6010), and I thought it came out really nice(and reasonable too).
He did it while I waited. He spent some time cleaning up the JPG image I had real nice as well.
definitely recommend him if your near State College area...

Re: NFA Engraving in PA
I believe they just had the shirts made. This last trip there was the first time I got a shirt. I'm sure going forward everyone getting a firearm engraved will get a shirt. These guys are awesome and are really going full speed towards expanding their business to the firearm engraving.

Re: NFA Engraving in PA
Ok 7 pages & I saw nothing for NEPA. Gotta be some SBR owners around here. Anybody, anybody?

Re: NFA Engraving in PA
Just got back from my second engraving done by Laserworx. This time it was a Scorpion Evo SBR for NFA required engraving. Won't post a pic due to sensitivity of the information, but I'm very pleased again with the work. I'll continue to refer them and take my business there.

Re: NFA Engraving in PA
Just had my lower done at laserworks. Great job and fast (20min).
Mods, the owner tried to get in touch with the site owner about advertising,
but never got a response. I told him when I got back home I would let the mods know.
I'm letting you know

Re: NFA Engraving in PA
+1 for LaserWorx... $50 for the basic stuff. Mine was $100 but I had my family's coat of arms engraved along with the required text.

Re: NFA Engraving in PA
Bogey1,
If you don't mind, please let them know that PAFOA's advertising is done by a 3rd party banner ad. I don't think DanP does any direct ads on the site.
However, Laserworx is welcome to join and place ads in the classifieds and a link in his signature(also to promote his services within threads). But he/she needs to fully disclose who he is in respect to Laserworx and that he represents Laserworx.RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515
Don't end up in my signature!
