Lets talk REVOLVERS
We have many posts on simi-auto's and rightfully so. They are 'todays' handgun---military, police,etc...
However, there are many, many fine revolvers out there.
My very first gun ( civilian ) was, is, S&W 19/.357/6bl.1978, and will be the last (if only allowed one)I consider it the all around handgun--defense, target, hunting.
Are there any revolvers lovers out there???
Lets here about them and or see them.

You're in good company, here's a revolver pix thread, but do a search and I think you'll find a few more threads for revolver addicts.

Re: Lets talk REVOLVERS
My first gun was a 2" barrel Colt Agent. I passed the ACT 235 qualification with it back in the early 80's
One I'll never sell is my S&W Model 10 heavy barrel - Jager gunsmith (used to be in Jenkintown) tuned the action back in teh early 80's before they moved to NC - it's smooth as glass.
I love the 642's - one is always in a pocket."...The gun at my side means that I cannot be forced, only persuaded...It doesn't limit the actions of those who would interact with me through reason, only the actions of those who would do so by force."

The Smith 19 is a favorite because it was dad's when he was working. The Smith 686 is my other favorite because it's an awesome shooting pistol."Guess what?! I got a fever, and the only prescription... is more cowbell!"

Re: Lets talk REVOLVERS
Nice looking porn. Forced me to spend time looking and admiring. My poor collection:
First handgun I fired, been in the family since 1932.
Need a few Rugers among these nice S&W's.
Not bad for summer carry

Right now I own:
3 Ruger GP100's, 3", 4", 6" all SS, 4 and 6 are HB
1 Ruger NMBH 45LC 4 5/8" bbl SS
1 Ruger Super Single Six, 5 1/2" bbl, Blue
1 Ruger Redhawk 44 mag 7 1/2" bbl SS
Like them all but am looking to sell the Redhawk to finance a shorter barreled one (probably the 5 1/2" model)Ron USAF Ret E-8 FFL01/SOT3 NRA Benefactor Member
