Enck's Gun Barn Expanding

I heard news that Encks Gun Barn will be moving to a larger facility in Myerstown this summer. I also heard they plan on a range (indoor) to be installed within the next year and change.

I do a lot of business with them and recommend them for their expertise, service and available stock.

Oh that's real good, just freaking great! I work in Myerstown area, now I need to take out a second mortgage, if just for the range at lunchtime. So not happy!!

Good news but in some ways the trend it represents is not good.

Trop has indoor range and now New Holland Sportsman and Enck building one. Have to ask what makes them believe this is a financially good move. I think they envision more and more pressure on and closure of outdoor ranges.

Ron, I know what you were trying to say here! The Gun Barn will be open for business Saturday August 1st at the new shop in Myerstown. I was not told what the hours will be for Saturday however I encourage everyone to check out the new shop!

I have had the privilege to see the new shop several times over the last few months and have to say that the shop has come a long way in a short amount of time. The new shop has the same feel as the old shop without having to bump elbows with the next guy.
