    Default Magpul glock pmags

So I picked up two of them and they came in today. My first impressions are whoa these are light. They definitely are noticeably lighter than the factory mags. It may just be me but they are so light they feel cheap and lack that typical pmag feel that you'd expect. Mine also have a nice manufacturing mark across the back and also lack the round count that's so familiar to glocks and instead have a single mark to indicate a full 17 round mag. They do seat very positively empty and drop free as well in my 34. I didn't want to play around with a loaded mag in the house but will shortly. I've got a class this weekend that I intend to use these pretty extensively. I'll also get some weights and pictures up tomorrow with comparison with factory mags. My initial thoughts are that if the price doesn't drop into the 12 dollar or less range I'll stick to factory mags for matches. They may surprise me but I've got some apprehensions about them.

I have one on the way as of today should have it in a day or so. I also have some KCI mags on hand so compare them too as well as factory G17 mags. I will post my experience up with it too by the end of this week.

Cool looking forward to hearing results.

Had a chance to play around with them back at the Outdoor Show, and I will agree, they did feel a bit "cheap" as you described.

I got two in the mail yesterday. They are extremely light. Also, the floorplate is thicker than the factory mag. The biggest thing I noticed was that trying to get the 17th round loaded was a royal PITA. Hopefully that will ease up with a little use. It is rather annoying that there is only one hole (at the 17 round mark) letting you know how many rounds are remaining in mag.

Wish they made them with FML like the originals.

Factory mags are to cheap at this time for me to consider buying some of these. If they were 10.00 I'd maybe pick up a couple to try, but for 15.00+ I'll pass.

... really? I've found factory mags to be at least $5-10 more than the Magpul mags.
