Hunting Instructor/Guide Wanted
I am looking for a hunting instructor/guide that is willing to teach the basics of fall turkey hunting and basic deer hunting. Both will be with a 12 ga shotgun.
I do not want to know your secret spot and take your prized 16" double bearded Tom or that 10 point, 250 pound buck you have been trying to get for the last two years.
I want to have the basics explained to me in practical application terms with time in the field.
I would prefer to stay in the Johnstown area as I am currently a single parent with my wife serving in the war overseas. My son is old enough to leave at home for the day.

Re: Hunting Instructor/Guide Wanted
Good luck with that..
1. Have you ever taken a hunters safety course?
2. Why don't you include your son. Does he have an interest in hunting?
3. If he does take him with you to the hunters safety course.
4. I just went through one myself.with my son-in-law. I've been hunting for 33 years. He's 23 and we both really enjoyed it. I even learned stuff I didn't know.
5. See about joining a local club. And get to know the people , than ask them for help. That way everything can remain local, where you hunt and who you hunt with.
Just my 2 centsIn God We Trust............................

Re: Hunting Instructor/Guide Wanted
1. No - have always been in a state where I am grandfathered and not required. But have never really had the opportunity to go hunting.
2. Son is not interested in hunting.
5. I am a member of a local club and have tried there. They are more interested in teaching youth than adults. But I will repost my request on the club board. Going to post it at the local Gander Mountain.
