Default Grips for a Rossi 972

    I picked up a Rossi 972

Love the gun but the grips are too small. Anyone have a source for larger grips?

I found a place in Thailand (Suncrafts) that sells them but not real keen on trying them out.

I have a pair of the grips from Suncrafts on my Rossi 720 and love them. I am in York township if you want to stop by and check them out.

Did you have any issues getting them? How long did it take?

Suncrafts is about the only place.

The grip frame on the Rossi's is a bit off from the comparable S&W guns, so sometimes there are weird gaps when using S&W grips.

I want to say it only took a week or two. I was nervous sending money to Thailand, but they were great to deal with and I figured it was only $40 if I got ripped off. I had to use a dremel on the inside of the grips to fit them (which from the research I did it's common to have to do that) but it was easy to do. I really like the grips, and I'd buy from them again.
