I know of several individuals who have decided that Philly's laws have reached the level of "unjust" and outright ignore them.

And if they are caught, they may be proved quite correct.

    ^^^^This!^^^^

"No intelligent man has any respect for an unjust law."

"I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do." — Robert A. Heinlein

However, if I get caught breaking the law or the rules, I accept the consequences as my due. That I can justify my disobedience doesn't mean I should expect to get away with it.

It's better just to ignore Philthy entirely.

This somehow became about knives and philly.

My main concern is Bayonets (not just knife style ones either) and their legality outside of the blanket "defense" of "curio"

This is another one of those areas where the law is purposely written to be vague. Vaguely written laws have been proved to be unconstitutional many times over.

Can't be that bad......I was in Phillys historic district and saw 20+ guys dressed funny with flintlocks, swords and bayonets walking around. They even shot them (with a blank load).
