Default consecutive serial numbered AR lowers

I purchased two Anderson stripped AR lowers. When they arrived I noticed they were consecutive serial numbers. I know some people find extra value in consecutive numbers. I don't. I paid around $100 for the pair shipped, before transfer. How much, if any, does the fact that they are consecutive numbered add to the value? I'm not really looking to sell them. I'm just wondering.

To me? No value whatsoever. MAYBE if they were complete rifles in some sort of "limited edition" run, but a run of the mill lower? Nope - no added value monetarily or otherwise.

Thanks for the offer but, I'm going to build at least one and either hold the other or build it at a later date.

I don't have a link, but I watched two consecutive numbered Noveske gen 3 lowers go for about $200 over retail each on he EE on Arfcom. IMO they're worth whatever someone would pay for them

If they were early production Colts per say consecutive serial numbers sounds alluring. With current Andersons it doesn't. Put them away for forty years and see what happens.

I got two consecutive Stag lowers. I thought it was cool since I go one and the other went to my son. Other than that, meh.

    Today?...probably little if nothing.

    20-30 years from now?...who knows.

I know Garands and older military hardware will command a premium if you can find a set with consecutive numbers.

The only consecutive numbered firearms I'd be interested in would be a pair of 40 S&W Glocks.
