    Default M&P40

So I did it. I finally bought that M&P40 police trade-in from Buds for $318.00 w/ insurance, shipped with the "SAVE35" coupon. Comes with box, back straps, 3 mags, and night sights (although the NS are not guaranteed). Hope she's a good one!

I'm sure it will be. Police guns are usually carried a lot but shot very little. You can't get hurt for that price.

Those were my exact thoughts. At just under $320.00, I can definitely rationalize that. Hell, I spend that much on food every month...

Man that irks me. My department is trading our old M&P 40's in, and offered them to us for sale at the low price of $375.00. What a ripoff.

I've used an M&P40 exactly like the one you purchased since 2008. I have no serious complaints. The slide has a tendency to come forward when you insert a magazine, thats the worst thing I can say about them.

Show them that add, they might reconsider?

I have a 40c and full size 40, NO COMPLAINTS here...Great firearm for daily carry in my opinion. Price seems pretty darn good for a used one.
My full size got the Apex trigger treatment, I love it. The compact has a lot of rounds and range time, trigger is well worked in on its own.

That was my thought exactly. Such a good price. And it is full size. I had a glock 23 gen 3 and I couldn't get my full hand on it so it was pretty miserable to shoot. Too small and snappy.

I shoot the M&P 40 just fine but I find it to be an average pistol with a crummy trigger. I don't find it exceptional in any way. I hear a lot of police departments have had trouble with them.

They will all do that. So will most polymer guns. Some like it. With mine it happens when I slam it home. If I'm not slapping it it stays locked back.
