Default Which Night Sights for M&P45?

I will be getting night sights for my full size M&P 45, but I'm not sure which ones to get. I don't want too spent too much but I do know that ya get what ya pay for.

The trouble I am having while conducting my online search is this: I understand that some sights are interchangeable between the M&P9 and the M&P40, but those are not interchangeable with the M&P45. I cant seem to find any for the M&P45 and I don't want to drop $150 and up with the wrong sights.

Any advice? Any links to a specific sight that you would recommend? I have used(and still use tru dot night sights made by meprolight I think for my 9MM) and they have been good to me.

Any advice/recommendations would be much appreciated,

    Thanks, Isaac

I highly recommend the Tru-Glo TFX sights for all pistols.

I shot with these Hakathorn's a few weeks back on one of my brothers pistols. I liked them a lot,.

There's also the standard AmeriGlo M&P set which are pretty excellent.

For a defensive sight, you can't go wrong with the XS Big Dot sights. They have tridium inserts in them as well. I plan on getting myself a set for my g19.

Warren tactical tritium from black rear are $75 shipped from Amazon and meprolights are $75 shipped from lot of places.
I used mepros for almost 10 years until I found warren tacticals they are the best sights I've used so far. I've had big dots and normal dots I don't like them. I had ameriglo I dot those are pretty good and $75 shipped from Amazon. Trijicon are $150 for whatever reason so I don't buy them and TFO/tfx i even not used but haven't heard good things about the TFO supposedly they break but just Internet reading

Thanks Klutch! $75 is in my price range. The only problem I have in buying them is nothing online has specified that they are specifically for the M&P45. The description only says that they are for S&W M&P. I already have one set of M&P night sights that fit a 9mm or 40, and I don't want to accidentally buy a second set.

The slides on the M&P full size 9 and 45 are the same exact size. There are no differences and you can verify this by checking the specifications. I own both and they are the same, which makes equipment purchases less expensive.

I have 10-8 U notch on the rear and they offer brass bead, Tritium and fiber optic for the front. Since anything being shot should be positively identified in low light (a flashlight), I use the fiber optics. In low or no light, they work like a traditional sight blade when a flashlight or weapon mounted light is shined on the target/ threat.

The brass bead is coming back into use, as it captures the slightest amount of ambient light. It never breaks (fiber optic) or gets dim (Tritium).

You own every round you fire, so the mass belief of needing night sights is a myth.
