If you go to New Jersey on the train you are in New Jersey period. If you end up at the Trenton Train Station it is owned by Amtrak which is a Federal facility. Amtrak Police have Jurisdiction but so does New Jersey police. You would be better off being arrested by the Amtrak Police and apply for asylum. There's only one way out of that hellhole and that's aboard the Septa train going west to PA. Amtrak trains stop there but it's illegal to carry on your person aboard Amtrak, that's a federal offense. Pay attention if you are carrying aboard Septa on the corridor. Their trains stub in states where you can't carry with a PA LCTF, Delaware and PRNJ.

I have no doubt the federal government goes after people under all kinds of tenuous justifications. I have far less faith they will step in to protect me from NJ gun laws under tenuous justification
