HELP me please

I have a pt 111 I broke down to clean and now it will not go back together I have the slide in place and now I cant get it to go forward all the way and I removed the break down pin and it still will not slide off to redo it

Good advice. If I made a list of all the things I have learned how to fix after watching Youtube videos it would be long.

If I remember right with that gun, when you put on the slide, you lock it back and put in the take down lever. You won't need to put in the mag to get the barrel hood to clear the port, or, if you let it the slide go forward after installing it, simply lock it back and insert the take down lever. This way, you never need to mess with the mag.
