Wow, that's harsh stuff. Can you have any guns in NJ as a Nj resident?

New Jersey hates privately owned guns and goes out of its way to make criminals of private gun owners in every way possible. If you don't believe me read the case linked above.

by license I mean drivers license! Not permit to carry from NJ

Sure you need a FOID card for each purchase. They can be kept at home and taken to the range, then back home again. Long guns can be used for hunting, I don't know those rules.
