If I read that last post correctly (it passed), when does this go into effect - next season? Any official links to how this will be rolled out?

HB 263 Hunting with Air or Gas Powered Weapons passed the PA house full house vote 196-0

Little back channel info from some of FOAC people that were in HBG on April 21 meeting with reps on trying to move some Other pro gun legislation before the Activist gun owners go to the 10th annual second amendment lobbying event on May 12, 2015

HB 263 does NOT go into effect without a governor signature or an over ride veto vote

HB 263 ONLY pass the house , next it has to go to senate Game and Fish committee for a vote IF it gets a vote and passes, next step would be a full senate votes, that is IF it gets a vote and IF it passes unchanged, un-amended.

IF its amended in senate and it passes the senate then it has to go back over to house for a concurrence vote., then to governor

IF its not amended in senate HB 263 goes straight to governor Wolf's desk for signature.

All HB 263 removes the provision in the title 34 law that prevents the PGC from allowing air rifles use for hunting.

The PGC would then be free to set rules and season for using air guns in PA to hunt with.
