Whoa , I tried to find a thread explaining Millers and it seems there is one or more with that name.
The one I had ASSUMED we were talking about was the one in Cresson.
And it seems the Millers in question is in Mill Hall.
    I got it.

That's actually a real law. PA requires that a shop that transfers a handgun provide the transferee with some type of locking device. PA Title 18 Section 6142:

§ 6142. Locking device for firearms.

    (a) Offense defined.--It shall be unlawful for any licensee to sell, deliver or transfer any firearm as defined in section 6102 (relating to definitions), other than an antique firearm as defined in section 6118 (relating to antique firearms), to any other person, other than another licensee, unless the transferee is provided with or purchases a locking device for that firearm or the design of the firearm incorporates a locking device.

I don't want to hijack a post but Phil has mellowed with age. One thing has not changed. Phil is a tremendously talented gunsmith. Period. Like most of us as we age, we get set in "our ways". They have some used AR's and some AR parts, mags, etc. Their prices have become somewhat more competitive in some things. Grice's..........................It's a Black Friday Door Buster sale every Saturday at that place. If I factor the high price of Pennsylvania's gasoline and my time to drive to Clearfield plus the emotional pain and suffering from being holed up in a sardine can with all those people, I'll buy more locally or online. If I want to be treated like s*#t by people who should value me as a customer, I'll go see my doctor and his staff. (Then ask for a prostate check).
Engineers make things idiot proof! Evolution makes better idiots!
