Which long range semi-auto would you choose ?

List your ranges, needs, budget.

You will go broke trying to feed a semi 338LM...even if you reload, the brass is the brass is the most expensive component.

If you are serious about a 50BMG semi...the Serbu is going to be a better option compared to Barrett in terms of weight and precision.

depends on your budget, if your shooting at a club forget the 50 as they are long permitted at most clubs.

do you have the budget to drop on a 4k rifle?
do you have another 1k on reloading componets?

2k for glass
$200 for rings
$100 for a moa base


not including buying a press for those calibers as they will not reload on your average reloading press, brass, bullets, power.

so for around 7-8k your in the game.

If you are packing a Barret then when the balloon goes up you won't be able to carry anything else.

My long range semi-auto will be a .22 that I use when I sneak up on your ass from long range with my gillie suit and assault wheelbarrow while you are sleeping 12 hours a day from lugging that boat anchor around without any food or water.

I would never want a semi for super long range, but that 408 by RND looks awful hawt.

No needs just want something new
Budget : We only live once, so we should have fun

For my M82A1 I have for sale on EE :
It's not compatible with the Barrett can I have.
I know the can only suppress 40% on any .50 BMG but it's cool to use
