    Default Anyone liking Bond Arms?

I was at Targetmaster earlier today and once again saw one of those cute Bond Arms derringers in 38. It is a work of art. I want my guns in steel and wood and that little thing has them both in spades. Pure simplicity. Anyone shot it?

I've shot a 38 derringer before. It felt like someone hit me in the palm of my hand with a ball peen hammer. Not pleasant to shoot.

    Just my opinion on them...

They are bigger and heavier than they need to be. Yeah, they are built like a Abrams tank and will probably last forever - but their mass is a turn-off.

BTW - that above is coming from a gun who loves derringers and pocket guns.

I like them. They will last forever. Sure they rock you a bit but who's shooting them every day? Nobody.

Well, if you want a derringer, and you want one that isn't made of pot metal, they're the only game in town.

I would like to own one someday just to add to the collection. I am thinking .22 Magnum for my money.

Is the frame the same for all barrels and calibers? I don’t have big hands but the grip was just big enough to fill my hand. If utube videos are any indication they are pretty accurate

Frame is the same for all barrels/calibers. One screw to change out to other barrels and calibers. I have one in 45LC/410. I don't shoot it much but that doesn't mean it's not fun to shoot. Have been meaning to pick up another barrel or two in different calibers.

There is also American Derringer. ...non-pot metal, a much larger selection of chamberings(the largest), been in business many, many, years.

It looks like a hookers site.
