Does the PSP or anyone actually call your employer to ask questions? what's the employer information for?
Never heard that any agency called any employer where I worked to ask. Bugs me because I work for a concern that is based where gun ownership isn't exactly celebrated.

I figure keep my personal business to myself. Be the responsible person that I always am trying to be.

I don't have that issue my employer address is an office I never need to go to because I'm a remote employee work on the road and out of my house. If you want to get creative and your company had a headquarters elsewhere or in another state you can use that info and it is perfectly legit. They never specified that it had to be any specific office.

I write "N/A", thinking "this question is 'not appropriate' to your investigation"

I have never been questioned on a purchase or LTCF app. And it is not.
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

Leave it blank. My LGS never gave me shit about it. It shouldn't be on there to begin with. Most places dont care if you leave it blank.

I don't thnk it's a good idea to leave blanks on any official form. Someone else could write something in there. Better to write N/A.

Every fun store I've been to does it that way. Never seen a blank space

Edit. I meant Gun store, but Fun works too

I see your point, but im not too worried about that, especially on the ROS form, for 2 reasons. First, there isnt much that anyone could put in there that i would worry about, and secondly, its a carbon copy form and you keep the last one, so you are left with irrefutable proof that the form was filled out (or left blank).

Last time I filled out an official state form (subject to the penalties of Section 4904 of the Crimes Code (18 Pa.C.S. §4904) relating to unsworn
    falsification to authorities)
I listed my "profession or occupation" as "stay-at-home dad".

I suppose I could have written "unemployed" or "temporarily retired" or something like that. But the fact is I am by choice occupied (and then some) with caring for my kids every day. So I figured that's the most accurate answer.
I am not a lawyer. Nothing I say or write is legal advice.
