    Default So...who's in line for a G43?

Now that they're finally here, are you getting a G43 and if so what will it replace? Will we see a glut of G42's on the market?

Personally, I'm getting a G43 and it will replace the 42 as my everyday carry however the 42 isn't going anywhere.

    How about you?

I just picked up a G19 for my edc needs. I'd like to eventually get a G43 for obvious porpoises. I may even just see how cheap used G42s are going for though. I'm not opposed to carrying a 380, and I recently got to shoot a G42 and actually really liked it.

My lgs called his distributor Thursday when I was there and no ETA. He is first on list, other guy in shop is second, and I'm third - lol. Not dying for the gun, but you know, "just because"

I'm in line for a G17L. If anyone knows of one in mint cond., let me know. $$$ not an issue if the gun is MINT.

May look at a G43 for my daughters (if it actually shows up), but they both kinda got their minds set on G36's...just like DAD.

It's probally going to be a piece of shit like the g42 was when it came out with all its issues. Had mine for 2 days and traded it for a g36. Had 5 gen 4s after that and if I got another glock it would be a 26. No doubt. Not really a gen 4 unless it has the backstrap system ImO. I can't runa. Glock w/o a beavertail.

I'll buy one, just not in a hurry to get it, definitely don't want the first run because there is no doubt changes will be made within the first year.

I'll get one when they are perfected. You guys can be the beta testers.

After reading your post about the G42, my money's on the fact they'll (Glock) will have it sorted out from the get go, We can only hope.

Tanners is taking orders with a $50 deposit. Price is $465. I'm 2nd on the list and was 18th when the Shield came out. I didn't want to wait 8 months again, so I showed up when the doors opened. This gun will be replacing that Shield. Although the Shield is a nice gun, at the end of the day I'm a Glock guy.
I would rather die in a shootout than get assassinated in a "gun free zone"

Local shop said they have 10 on order from each of their distributors (50 guns total or something), which they did in hopes that they will see any in the next 6 months.

I however will not be bothered to even consider one.
