While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

Move in, buy your parts, build your AR and enjoy.
Yep. PA has full preemption for all firearms laws -- unlike NY State.

    Welcome and enjoy your freedom.

From what I gather from my years of reading on this forum, I think you'd find there are a metric shit-ton more shooting ranges in the Pittsburgh area than Philly - and at a fraction of the cost.

There are very few public ranges here, but there are many, many membership clubs in the various areas surrounding the city and beyond.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

All the above is true but there are some transport restrictions. So to avoid having to comply with those in any way, make sure you get your carry permit as soon as you establish residency. It's cheap, fast, shall issue . . .

Read these PA Firearm FAQ for specifics.

Offbeatbop, welcome to the thus far free world.

Many dems wish to change that, at least the big city ones.

No Gestapo west of the Delaware.
Welcome! and enjoy the freedom our Founders prescribed.

Beware P'burgers, they all sound like rednecks, and have NFC of cheesesteaks, soft pretzels, or TastyKakes.
    Damned pikers.
