Re: barrel threading ?
You will have better success sending off the barrel to have it threaded.
If this is for a suppressor, don't go cheap as that may cost you dearly in the end. End of the day, make sure that you find a company that will give you concentric threads.
You could always purchase a 10/22 barrel that's already threaded. Hard to beat a KIDD barrel that's threaded...that's what I have and it wasn't expensive.
ADCO does a lot of barrel threading and they are in OH.
I'm on the other side of the state, so I cannot help you with someone local. I know in my area...there is a long waiting list to have someone local thread. You will get faster service and quality by going to ADCO or some other outfit that threads for various firearms.
Most barrel threading will run you $75-130...so that's why buying a threaded 10/22 might be a better/less expensive option.

Re: barrel threading ?
As aubie515 said make sure it's done correctly. BTW, thats what I do allot of threading for, suppressors. I charge $65 - $80 for MOST threading jobs.
I"m actually threading a few of my own in my lathe today, it's my first personal can I picked up yesterday......I'm so pumped to actually do something for myself for once!!!!
Anyways good luck to ya!manharts gunsmithing/machine shop/dirt bike repair
