County specific forums...

Take this for what it's worth...

I don't think it's a very effective way of organizing PAFOA members to organize when we break things down into Counties. Maybe when the board grows more it may work, but I think it spreads things out too much. I live in Delco and shoot in Philadelphia, Montgomery and Bucks County. I organize events at gun clubs in PA and from previous experience, people travel from outside their County to come there. I personally think things should be a little more grouped together so that we can get more eyeballs on fewer forums.

i live in York county, if i drive about 3 miles east I'm in Dauphin and 4 miles west I'm in Cumberland county.

I can absolutely group the counties by region so that there would be something like

Region Specific Forums (Can't post here)
----- Southeastern PA (Can post here)
---------- Philadelphia (Can post here)
---------- ...

Anyone have suggestions on how to break up regions? I must admit I've only lived in PA for about 6 years and I rarely even leave the city of Philadelphia so my knowledge of the state as a whole is pretty limited.

I would do a NE, SE, SW. NW and Central. Most people can figure out where their County resides in.
