    Default Mauser 80SA

Are they worth $269 in this condition. Seems interesting, not familiar with them at all. Look like a Browning High Power

Google says they are a feg hi-power clone that mauser stamped it's name on. So it's a solid gun, and just about anything that doesn't have hi-point or jennings on the slide is worth $270 on today's market.

I like the looks of the gun in that pic, good natural wear and looks the way a hi-power should look. I'd probably pay around that for it, maybe try to get it for $269 OTD.

Thanks ! Guy has 11 of them, $269 + $35. Just got my Enfield in the mail, Sears 12 gauge on the way, picking up two S&W's tomorrow and gunshow Saturday, so this one is in the longer "thinking" stage - lol. Thought it looked pretty solid.

$269 + $35 for a transfer or something? That's probably getting towards the high side unless it was really nice or came with a bunch of crap.

Yes, it is an FEG (Hungarian) that Mauser put their branding on, and may have assembled. I forget. They are solid BHP clones from what I have read. I have handled a few, and they seem fine. You may just want to get an FEG if you can find one for less, but that price isn't outrageous. The shipping charge kinds of sours it for me a bit.

I just pulled the trigger on one from Cole's via gunbroker. My research says they're a well made FEG copy of the HP. I found nothing negative about them anywhere. Under $300 for a trunk gun that I'm not afraid to get a scratch on. Plus it say's Mauser on it.
