Glock 43
It appears glock is teasing with pictures again for their new model. I assume it was be a single stack 9 but there are rumors it will be as big as a 19 length or as small as a 42. I already bought a shield so I'll wait until they work out any bugs with the 43. how many of you are happy to finally get what you've been asking for? If I didn't have the shield Id be a lot more excited for it.
Go head, skin it. Skin that smoke wagon and see what happens.

Re: Glock 43
As another said in the other thread, I want it to be the size of a 19.

Re: Glock 43
Well that might explain this Webcast I signed up for:
Glock Live from the GLOCK US HQ
Friday March 20th, 2015 @ 9:00 AM PST / 12:00 PM EST
3:00 PM PST / 6:00 PM EST
glock.yourbrandlive.com/c/new_product_2015
I think if you click the link you can register for the event. I am not even sure where or how I found out about it.
I hope it is a single Stack 9 so then the G42 should be dirt cheap since most would probably opt for the 9...LOL
And Apparently there is a Picture of it as well.

Re: Glock 43
There are images online that purport to be from a Recoil magazine "sneak peek". Looks to be similar to a PPS - about the same size, 6 round mag. (Presumably extended floorplates will eventually be available to add one or two rounds, similar to the PPS.)

It will be all made in the USA with a MSRP of $580.00 so expect retail to be around $480.00 to $500.00 once people calm down after the initial release.

Re: Glock 43
Gonna stick with my G36 and 1150 fps, 185 gr Magtechs.
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

Sorry Glock, too little too late. 6 rounds? you must be joking... Why not just carry the 26????
Now less Glock, more H&K :)

Re: Glock 43
OK, I actually like the fact that they kept it 6+1 so they could keep the grip short. I'm not one of those guys who needs extended base plates to get a third finger on the grip. I appreciate the extra concealability that comes from losing that seventh round.
I just can not understand why almost every other manufacturer can do .9 width and the best Glock can muster is 1.02". I would feel a hell of a lot better about losing those four rounds (compared to a G26) if the G43 was 1/4" thinner, rather than the 1/8" it ended up being.
I guess I will need to handle one to know for sure, but on paper 1/8" almost doesn't seem worth it.Last edited by marinville; March 18th, 2015 at 08:07 PM.
