Let me sum up their arguments:

    Because GUNS, that's why!

They really don't have much depth other than that. Its too bad courts can't do their jobs and read and understand the meaning of the Second Amendment. Its really not that difficult. If they would just apply First Amendment jurisprudence to Second Amendment jurisprudence we'd have a lot less problems.

I don't understand why they don't write the law saying committing a crime with a magazine over 10 rounds is an additional charge. That would allow law abiding citizens to us them. It's so simple. Of course bad guys don't care about the law anyway.

Round one. The cases we win on the district level get appealed . This case we lost is bound to get appealed as well. As I recall, this district court is lefist and therefore act as judicial activists. Even so, if a state chooses not to pass plus 10 mag legislstion, this ruling is mute. The vast majority of states have not and will not pass such legislation. Don't think that the shit state of ca. Is a trend setter. The luster of a once leading state has dulled significantly. High taxes, socialist politicians, more laws addressing everything but bedtime does little to cause most other states to follow along.

The court apparently concluded, as a matter of law and fact, that magazines over 10 rounds are completely unnecessary for dealing with violent criminals.

    So........why do cops have them?

When a woman calls the police because her drunk husband is playing with a .38 by the backyard campfire at midnight, of course the ten cops that show up need ARs with 30 round magazines.

When 4 Latin Kings kick in my front door, nobody needs a gun with more than ten rounds.

    That's why.

    Or -

These are weapons whose only purpose is to slaughter as many random people as possible as fast as possible with "spray fire."

Which is the job of a cop.

    Or -

Maybe it is because police almost never face more than one armed adversary, while it is pretty damn common for crime victims.

    Or -

Who are we kidding. Only cops should have guns in the first place, we just haven't been able to take them all away from you yet.

Why to deal with those criminals wearing body armor that they couldn't ban. Must be harder to get that head shot so they need more opportunities. (Why yes that was sarcasm right there).
