what kind of sights do YOU like?!?!

i LOVE post sights, and would have to say 3 dot for my second choice...

for rifles i like anything that isnt an open/iron sight as my vision SUCKS... but that would not be a sight then, so i would have to say my favorite would be ring and post (m16 style) sights...

Scopes on rifles with illumination so I can shoot BAC in close if need be.

I like a small aperature rear peep and a post front best.
The v-notch and pointed post on my K98 seem like a pretty good arrangement too as they allow a little more precision than the average open iron sights.
Other than that, I can pretty much adapt to whatever is on the rifle.

I seem to do better with night sights wether their three dot or some other configuration but definitely night sights. I line Novak's but have seen the Heni two dot and would like to try them out on the range. I would also like to see the three dot sights that have different colors for the front and rear. You are supposed to be able to pick up the front sight quicker with them but I have yet to try them. I'm looking into a large X S dot for my shotgun. For a long gun or hunting shotgun I definitely prefer optics

I'm growing quite fond of the Heine straight eight's. They seem to line up the fastest for me.

3 dot sights on pistols. For rifles, I think the M1/M1A sights are the best ever made.
