The item is just a 12" barrel and shroud. As I write this, the bidding is up to $745.

Back in the late 80s, I paid $300 for a Pistol Pak with four barrels. I bought an extra four inch barrel and shroud about 20 years for $25.

As I understand it, I could easily get a grand for my Pistol Pak.

I'm pretty sure the 12" barrels are on the rare side. I had a chance to buy a pistol pak a couple of years ago. Kind of wish I did. I'm more into my S&W's though, must stay focused.......

That's not a bad current price for that shroud. That is heavy shroud which makes it more on the rare side. That's for posting. I've been looking for one and may bid on it. I have the 15" VH shroud and looking for a 10 and 12 to complete my 7 barrel set. I'll probly bid it to $825.


And yes if you have a VH pac 1k is not out if the question.

Just looked deeper into that. It's a EWK barrel and shroud. Not an origanal DW. Eric sells those for $400 new when he makes them.

That just deflated all my hopes and wants.

Sorry about that. I didn't read the entire listing. I wasn't aware that anyone was making barrels for the Dans but it makes sense, they were popular in their niche.

Eric makes alot of stuff besides barrels. He makes barrel nuts, barrel tools , and best of all Fiber Optic front sights. Met him in the DW forums a while back.

Purchased my barrel nut and spacer from EWK last year. Good quality stuff.
I'll look to them when I decide to get some different barrels for my 15-2

I just picked up a 15-2 pac with 4",6",8" VH barrels and a 12" light. The revolver is sweet. and the 12" barrel is super cool. I saw an identical 12" light to the one I have sell for $830 on e-bay last week which is more than I paid for the entire pistol pac. I think I could sell the 12" and actually make a few bucks on my pac purchase, BUT no way am I going to do it. That pistol pac will never be sold as long as I am alive. If anything I will be spending money adding to it or adding to the small DW family that lives under my roof.
