    Default My new Palmetto PA10

I bought a complete lower several months ago and was going to build an upper to my likings. As I found out quickly, the parts added up more than I realized. I was hesitant to buy a PA10 upper from PSA but they recently had a sale with free shipping so I took a gamble. The upper literally came in 4 days which is unheard of from PSA. It mated beautifully to my PA10 lower and the action was smooth as silk (without any ammo). I loaded a pmag with Federal 7.62x51 149gr ammo and cycled a few rounds in and out. The bolt was stuck after the second round. I had to do the old "slam the buttstock on the ground trick" to break it free. I wanted to see if it would fire properly so I took it outside and fired 4 rounds without any issue. Again, the live round would not manually eject from the chamber. I had to slam the buttstock on the ground again. I had it lubed with Remoil. Im going to try a thicker lube and see if that helps. Here is one pic of it. Has UTG Tactical Bypod, UTG 1" riser, and a 6-24x50 cheap scope that worked awesome on my 556 AR. And to my surprise, my CTR Mil-Spec stock from my 556 fit on as well.

Remoil is good for lubing squeaky doors and shit around the house. Not so much on firearms

Try a chamber brush. Sounds like there is some sort of "newness" that needs to be cleaned out of the chamber. Good Luck!

I'm curious what this rifle will do with something like FGMM or Black Hills...however, I have my reservations about the optic and mount.

    Needs G trigger too.

In fact, that reminds me. I need to order one for myself.

I ordered an ar10 chamber brush and cleaning kit off amazon along with a couple bottles of Seal 1. Its coming today after work which should do the trick. I plan on really testing it out this weekend. I have several different types of ammo to work with. I will be happy if I can manage 2" groups at 100yrds.

IIRC the G triggers are not compatable with PA 10 without modification.
