Default Picked up my brand new VP9 today and my LTCF

So I picked up my VP9 today from Modern Munitions in Penndel. Talked with John a bit (great guy by the way) and then later in the day, went to Doylestown to get my LTCF.

For my first time getting a LTCF, I was surprised with how quick I was in and out. I paid my $20, 10 minutes later I was called in for my photo and 5 minutes after that I was out the door with my LTCF. Super easy process and it couldn't have gone smoother.

Now all I need to do is get a gun belt (I've been checking out the Bullhide brand belts) and a holster (I've been looking at the Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 2.0). I can't wait to get this VP9 to the range. I'm psyched.

Sounds like you're well on your way to being squared away. I recommend going to an Amish tack shop and having them make you a belt out of the stiffest, thickest harness leather they have. It'll save you a hundred bucks or so.

After that, invest in some training. Learn how to use that VP9.

    Congrats!!!

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. I definitely need a good belt. Can't deal with the walmart belts anymore. Haha.

Great quality - pricing - and delivery! Be sure to measure properly as instructed on the site.
The dress belt would make a good gun belt - the gun belts are just perfect.

Thanks for the heads up. That pic with the guy holding up the belt with one hand while the gun and holster is attached is impressive. That thing must be super rigid.

Galco instructors belt. They're not leather and they use velcro and those metal pull through latchy things. Very secure and none of that "This hole is too loose, this hole is too tight" bull crap that you get with a standard leather belt. They have some at target world if you want to look at them in person. Various colors and thickness. Get one! They're superb. About $50 if I recall. 3 years later and mine is still going strong, of course.
