Re: Recommendations for .22lr Revolver
The most accurate 22 pistol I own is a Dan Wesson revolver. I highly recommend one of those if you can find one. I got mine for $300, and its more accurate than my single six, SW K22, or Browning Buckmark.
Its built on the same frame as the 357 mag, so it should last forever shooting .22

Re: Recommendations for .22lr Revolver
My Ruger Single Six is a tank. Range, squirrel hunting, trapping. It happens to match the Super Black Hawk in .44 mag nicely with rosewood grips and stainless finish. The ability to convert to .22 Magnum is a plus too.

Re: Recommendations for .22lr Revolver
another vote for the k-22.
nothing can surpass it in heirloom quality.
my example is from the mid 50's and is just a tack driver.it's only metal, we can out think it....

Re: Recommendations for .22lr Revolver
The Heritage line is a more economical choice, with a 6.5" barrel and interchangeable cylinders. For the price, a pair can be had for the price of a premium revolver. Any money left over can go for ammo.

Re: Recommendations for .22lr Revolver
For "general range time fun" I'd say smaller & lighter is key. The bigger heavier guns absorb all of the recoil & take away the fun. I have multiple Charter Arms, a Taurus 990, A Heritage Jonny Boy & a S&W 43c. The 11oz S&W is the only one that lives in the range bag, It's the most fun to shoot!
Tact is just not saying true stuff. I'll pass.
