We will meet at the same parking lot ,that was used for the last event .The route will be the same .After the walk,we will have a get together at the Ross McGinnis Post 2145 VFW ,which is within walking distance ,of the parking lot.We are still lining up speakers for the get together and they will be posted upon confirmation.Maps and addresses will also be posted . As of right now Kim Stolfer of FOAC will be speaking along with Justin Dillon of Open carry Pennsylvania.

I am in for attending this one also. What is the preferred firearm? handgun or rifle or does it matter?

Re: Clarion Open Carry Walk
I'll try to make this one.
If the route is the same as last year, you should juuuuust squeak by a GFSZA area. ...it will be really close. And PA's LTCF doesn't cover long guns outside of Philly or absent a State of Emergency. If the governor or Clarion Boro mayor/counsel declare a SoE - then your LTCF will cover any long guns should you step into that GFSZA area.RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515

I'll be driving 18 hours straight through from Florida in an attempt to make it there.

Re: Clarion Open Carry Walk
May I ask a dumb question? Is there a problem in Clarion that citizens are protesting, or is this just a friendly get together? I've never been to Clarion, but a good protest or get together is worth a trip!

Re: Clarion Open Carry Walk
Hi Ed,
With this statement, you are limiting yourself to only the people that attended last time
"We will meet at the same parking lot ,that was used for the last event."
Can you provide a more open description of the start location for us?
Also maybe a date & time in the post / thread?
EDIT - disregard - it's in the header...American by BIRTH, Infidel by CHOICE

Re: Clarion Open Carry Walk
It's a walk/rally. Gun owners tend only to mobilize when something "bad" is coming our way. Since we're stuck with Wolf, the "bad" is here to stay for a while, and we need to stick together. This is one way to do that. Last OC Walk we had drew over 250 people, after Sandy Hook.
