muzzle device

I've been looking at muzzle devices for my SPR project. I think I've narrowed it down to two, the Griffin Armament M4SD II or the VG6 Precision Epsilon. Does anybody have any experience with either? Any other suggestions?

Lol! Believe me I'd love to. Possible in the future but I need glass and bipod first. After this one is done I'm taking a break and doing some additions of the NFA kind.

I'd opt for a flash hider vs brake for a traditional SPR role, maybe something like a BE Myers249 or an AAC blackout.

One thing for sure is if I was going to suppress in the relatively near future it I'd keep it on the cheap....like A2 cheap and then work with what adapter system the can uses

I've heard good things about the BE Meyers. It's quite long IIRC. A friend of a friend used it to bring a 13.7incher to legal length.

Its going to be about two years till I venture into the light. That's why I've been eyeing something decent. I thought just go with a FSC556 and keep it all Gemtech compatible, but I'm not going to make a decision based on the can if its going to be that far down the road.

Now if I hit this F'n powerball there would be all sorts of giggles.

I have two VG6 Epsilons. The owner of VG6 is an awesome dude. RXM introduced me to him at SHOT. For what it's worth, I liked his products before I met the owner.


I would go with an adjustable gas block. Put whatever muzzle device you want on it until you can afford your Dead Air Sandman
