Yeah, I have no idea what it is because you didn't label any of them, but it's really nice.

    I’ll play.

Don’t consider myself an FN Herstal fanboy, but if I find something I like, I tend to buy in doubles….

FNP-45 with 200 Lumen Surefire (My nightstand companion)

Loved this gun from shot one, so I bought…

FNP-45 Tactical with Trijicon 3.25 MOA Red Dot

Got a pair of scars as well…

SCAR 16S in Black with US Optic SR- 8s (1-8x)

Love at first trigger squeeze, so I bought…

SCAR 17 S (SCAR Heavy) in FDE with ELCAN SpecterDR (1.5-6x)

Both SCARs have PWS -SRX Rail Extensions, Geissele Super SCAR Triggers (Best. Trigger. Ever.), VLTOR Stocks, GG&G Charging Handles and QD Sling Plates, and AAC Brakeout 2 Compensators (for attaching quiety goodness!).

The 17S has VLTOR Mod Pod, which looks kinda goofy but is one awesome stable bi-pod! Folds up along the side rails so it is not dangling in the way below the barrel

How's the grip on the FNX-45? I heard people complain about them. What about the price?

Most FNH's are too rich for my blood but I do own one:

Real Belgian Hi-Power for $420, I couldn't pass that up.

FN-P is the earlier version of the FN-X. Same frame and grip I believe, with some slight internal mods. Mags are interchangeable though FNPs in an FNX are loose, and FNX in an FNP are snug.

I like the grip. Has a bit of over exaggerated teeth bite into the meat of your hand, but it is not nearly as bad as some of the "tactical" 1911 checkering I have felt. I like the angle (close to a 1911) though it is wide (double stack 45). I actually like the grip a lot, and it is one of the most well balanced and accurate "plastic" pistols i have ever shot. Very controllable with recoil being rearward push more so than an upward snap. They do have replaceable back straps to add a palm swell if you like that sort of thing.

I found my base model FNP 45 for $475 used about 5 years ago.. It was a set originally from one of the big sports stores that came with 3 mags and a Blade-tech holster and mag carrier Mine looked like it had less than 50 rounds through it. Maybe they did hate the grip...

New Tactical models (Threaded barrel, higher sights for use with a suppressor, replaceable Red dot mounting plate already cut into top slid) are going to be over $1,000.

FN stuff is not cheap, but it ain't HK prices either. You are getting serious quality for the price.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I would rep you again for the cool firearms but I have to spread it first.
