Default PA Motorist facing NJ gun possession charges

    .

A Yardley, Pennsylvania, man was charged with weapons offenses after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation making an improper turn at Princeton Avenue and Lawrence Road at 2:29 a.m. Jan. 29, according to police Lt. Joseph Amodio.

James McCoy, 38, was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of hollow point ammunition, Lt. Amodio said. He had a .45-caliber handgun in his possession in his 2013 Ford F-150 pickup truck, police said.

When Mr. McCoy was asked to produce his credentials, he handed the police officer his driver’s license and related credentials, and also showed the police officer his Pennsylvania-issued firearms identification card, Lt. Amodio said.

The police officer asked Mr. McCoy if he had a weapon in the pickup truck, and Mr. McCoy replied that he had a handgun, Lt. Amodio said. The handgun was unloaded and the ammunition was also in a locked container.

And the Officer in this case had every opportunity to release Mr. McCoy with advice to get out of Jersey with all possible safe and legal speed. Maybe even with a citation for the original traffic infraction. It is pretty obvious the firearm was legally owned and being transported.

Many states that prohibit the use/possession of radar detectors have signs posted at the borders to let wayward travelers know they may be breaking the law by having one. Maybe NJ should post similar signs regarding firearms.

In the age of newspapers, radio, internet news, internet blogs, Facebook, cell phones, and all other forms of media and information moving technology it is hard to grasp that this poor young sucker was not aware of New Jersey's firearms stance and what has happened before him to those who have been innocently found with goods on them that though they are made legal to own to the point of inclusion in the US Constitution they are illegal in New Jersey.

Then to make matters more confusing, they will lie about their relationship with their girlfriend/boyfriend yet tell the police in the Anti-US Constitutional state that they have a firearm tucked away.

I do not understand today's people.

Is common sense really that unusual?

Did this young man really offer that information?

Now I doubt he will get the "great treatment" they give law breaking sports stars or the "good treatment" they gave Ms. Allen.

Let's hope, for his sake, somehow somebody with some pull will flex his US Constitutional rights for him.

    Some thoughts.

    God bless!!

And a buffer zone to allow you to turn around and get out of there.

Pennsylvania-issued firearms identification card, Lt. Amodio said.

It's a license to carry a firearm dick head. We don't need no stinkin firearms ID card.

So with the exception of how point ammo (because we know its always better for your shot to continue past is intended target) he pretty much was within jersey law. What pieces of corrupt shit these fucking jersey cops are. Seriously maybe go into Camden and uh do your job you know get actual criminals, instead let's get those honest law abiding pa residents because they still have some freedom and we the nj Nazi regime feel that this is unacceptable fucking Nazi bastards.
