New CCW Purchase - opinions please
I know this question has been asked a million times, however, i have a few choices ive narrowed it down to.
I am actually on my way now to purchase one of them.
I need your opinions on the following:
1. Springfield XDs 9mm or .45
2. Springfield XD mod 2 (brand new)
3. MP Shield 9mm
4. Ruger SR9c
5. Sig Sauer P320
6. ATI FX45 Fatboy (phillipines :/ )
Opinions on the above please.
Im not looking for additional guns at this point.
Thanks in advance

Re: New CCW Purchase - opinions please
I have a Shield in 9mm and I like it a lot. I also looked at the XDS but I didn't think it was worth the extra money ($85 more I think, at the time) but it was also a very nice piece. Both are easy to CC, more so than the P320 I believe.
Good luck.

Re: New CCW Purchase - opinions please
I also have a Shield in 9mm. Great little carry gun. Fun to shoot at the range and easy enough to carry concealed.
I looked at the XDs in 45 prior to buying the shield. Both felt very similar in my hand. Ultimately I chose the Shield for being made in the States.

I have both the shield in 9mm as well as the xds45. Both great to conceal and reliable. . I have no complaints.

I've only had experience with the SR9C and it's very nice.

You need to decide if you want a single or double stack pistol 1st big difference when it's holsters in your waist band. I have a 9mm shield and a G26 pretty close in length and grip size but the thickness makes a huge difference when it comes to overall comfort.
I vote Shield it's an amazing pistol in every way the only upgrade would be a new set of sights if I had to make one and a quality ISB holster.Join the GOA & save $5.00. https://www.gunowners.org/mac-subs-join-goa.htm

I have the Sig P320 in Compact. Great gun and trigger. Keep in mind all the modularity being introduced for this model. Multiple calibers and sizes from sub compact to full, all compatible with the same chassis. Change up as you please...just order your choice of caliber and size and use the same chassis. And the chassis is the "gun". The other parts can ship direct to you.

Re: New CCW Purchase - opinions please
If you want small and thin ... Shield. If you can carry larger its a tough call between the p320 and SR9c

Re: New CCW Purchase - opinions please
Thanks everyone for the feedback.
I forgot to mention that im 6'4" 240lbs.
I checked out the following today:
MP shield (very nice gun, but a little to skinny/small for my big hands)
XDS 9 (felt much better in my hand than MP)
XD Mod 2.0 (if they had all black i probably would have bought it)
Mod 2.0 was very nice - im not sure why anyone would buy an XDS over a Mod 2.0 now. They only had 2 bi-tone in stock and they had to go in the back to find it. It is a very nice gun. A little too heavy but felt fantastic - and it holds twice as many as the XDS.
Unfortunately they didnt have all black. So i stilll have some time

Of those, the shield is the one I'd get.
