Any information on Ruger 9 mm LCR?
Jumping the crimp and jamming?

I'll throw in my $.02.
Physics being what they are, if the lightweight gun isn't slowing down the snappy recoil, the next heaviest thing in line would probably be the inertia of the lead bullet. If the crimps aren't up to the task for whatever reason, they can move, as you've seen. Firmer grip or different ammo would be my suggestion, prolly the former. Not the gun, mostly likely. Grip it like you mean it. Like no one will take it from you. It's the most overlooked part of shooting.
