GunSkins - anybody familiar with these?
I noticed the add on Slickguns. Just curious if anyone has any experience with them. They have 'em for rifles also I think. I guess you could say it's essentially shrink wrap for your gun.

Some cool looking designs actually. Wonder how durable they are, and how east they are to apply?
Maybe just do the slide.
I should put this one on my Commie gun from Romaina:

I wonder if there's any worry about your gun rusting to shit if you leave that skin on there for a few years without being able to wipe it down.

This is the website for the main company called Camoskinz - www.camoskinz.com - we have used their camo wraps for many years and it is the best out there...
The gun skins work great, protect your gun, and can be removed with no damage or residue....
You can get a free catalog on their website with all their products.

I seriously doubt it. Like all vinyl skins, you need to clean and dry whatever they are being applied to. Once applied, no moisture or air gets through, so there is nothing causing rust.
My experience is with car/truck parts, some bare metal, but not guns. I can tell you that when you peel the vinyl off of bare metal a few years after it was applied, it looks as shinny and clean as the day you applied it.
