    Default S&W 457

Love these older S&W semi's ! Been eying a 457 for a while, threw out a low bid on one while enjoying a day off and what do you know - mine. Another with just a little holster wear, so hopefully will clean up nice!

Picked up my $300 "klunker" today A nice cleaning, and a little oxpho blue on the high spots and not bad at all. Did I mention I love these older S&W's ! My first blued version - I'm sure it won't be the last - nice addition to the family.

Not yet. I've accumulated a few more that I have not taken out yet both rifles and pistols so I feel a range day coming soon! I'm sure my daughter will be asking soon too so I'm feeling another great father/daughter day! I've been looking for this model S&W 45 for a while, and at this price, couldn't resist. Sometime you just get lucky with the low bids on no reserve auctions .......

Very nice indeed. You're right, they're addictive.

This thread really needs a range report though.
