    Default Primary Arms 1_6x scope

Anyone here own one? I'm looking for a scope to throw on an AR. This one seems decent and it fits within my price range + a pa scope mount. Just curious of anyone here has used one before and what your impressions were.

HAD one ... for the price its hard to beat. However, I dumped mine in order to pre-order the new Vortex StrikeEagle ($329 in most places). People are assuming they are going to be identical except for the reticle. I am hoping the Vortex doesnt have the same brown tint to the glass that the PA did. For me, the extra few $ is worth it over the PA simply because I like the Vortex reticle better and their Lifetime warranty.

The Vortex Strike Eagle does look promising. Glad to see other options for 1-6 scopes.

Thanks for the info Intense. Was the brown tint on the PA really noticeable? The lifetime warranty on the Vortex does sound nice.

Mine doesn't have brown tint and has very clear glass. I'd be sending that one back.

I liked mine so much I picked up one of their 4-16x scopes for another rifle.

Compared to my current MTac there was a noticeable difference. Read reviews, others have noted the same

Maybe they had a bad run because mine is looking great beside a Vortex Viper and a Sightron SIII

It was one of the first they got of the Gen2 ... If it was a bad unit then great, I'll be expecting my Strike Eagle to be good
