Cool to see these old gun designs from the past being brought back to life. It makes me think tough that we won't see any new steel and wood designed guns roll out of factories in a while. It also cool to to see the article mentioned them making a civilian model of the BAR. Hopefully it won't be $5000 like the semi auto military clone is.

Also hope it doesn't shadow the Remington R-51 with it's problems and recalls.

Colt sold its soul to the government and left the rest of us behind. They're going to have to do a lot more than resurrect some old models to regain their market share and return to the glory they once held. They are so far behind on potential new platforms it would take an act of God to bring them into the 21st century. The Python would be so expensive considering the level of craftsmanship involved and that those who originally did it are long since retired in one form or another. I doubt many would sell.

I love seeing the old models coming back around but if I was going to get a .32 I'd go with something smaller. Oh... and I have no doubt Colt's price will be a bit higher than I would want to pay.

You can buy them now. Plenty used ones on the market.

They should release it in .380 as well.

I'll pass. I like the 1903 but I would want one built by Colt, not licensed, also one with a history and some patina to it.
