Default Any Clue What S&W They Fit?

I bought a set of grips for a j-frame revolver off of eBay and when they arrived they weren't cut properly to fit my 642. Anyone have a clue what they will fit?

S&W grips come in "round butt" and "square butt" versions. I think most the J-frames are round. It looks like those grips should fit.

The top rear portion of the grips have to be cut square in the middle to fit a 642. These are cut in a curve

A picture of the inside of the grips would be helpful. Looking at those again they do look like round butt.

This is why they won't fit the 642

Interesting. When I bought my 642, I asked on the S&W nut forum and was told that all J-Frame round butt grips are the same.

ETA: I just dug through my box of grips and all of the S&W factory J-Frame grips in there have the square cut. I don't know why that set would be rounded. I'd just use a bit of sandpaper and square out the opening.

I can't make out much from the pic of why they don't fit. Maybe they are just badly made? They look like round butt grips.
