I couldn't agree more Ashton.

This class didn't fee like work. At all.

The dedication and hard work of the students, in addition to the fact that everyone wore their big boy pants, had thick skin, and left their egos at home, really made this an enjoyable class to teach.

A big thank you to John and Ashton. This class was a real eye opener for me as well. I know what weaknesses I need to work on. I have been working hard to learn this craft but don't believe I have mastered anything yet. I believe I am improving every day but NO where near where I want to or need to be.

Stress and darkness makes everything a lot harder. I need to let my brain engage way before my body reacts.

I learned a lot, not only about gun fighting but about myself.

Oh and as for my screen name and me shooting glocks. Lol some things should be left unsaid and to the imagination.

There is not much more i can add that others have not said before, but i will try. This is my third training course with John Brown and Ashton Ray. They deliver exceptional skills training, provide clear and detailed reasoning for their methodology, and just make the time at the range fun and worthwhile.

The handgun course by far for me was the most valuable and practical since i do not roll around with an M4 in my back seat of my car or on my person while at the mall with my family. The skills and expertise that John and Ashton shared during this weekend have helped to re-focus my approach to training, and solidify why i train.

Shooting is fun but TRAINING with skilled instructors should become part of your routine at least twice a year. Three Rivers Tactical Training is a great place to start. There is so much to learn while at the range when taking a class in comparison to the "instruction" you can get from friends, family or "online experts."

I congratulate those who showed up for this class, in JANUARY.

It's cold and wet in Pittsburgh about half a year. It's glove weather for four months. Doing a little training and practice in crappy weather is, obviously, a good idea. But it's rare that I see it done.

No doubt Pete - it takes a different level of commitment to attend a class during the winter months.

These guys were locked on for sure. I don't think I heard a single complaint about the weather all weekend.

On the other hand, I've taught classes in every possible weather situation imaginable - it's no walk in the park when it's 95 degrees with a blistering sun and 98% humidity either.

October is by far my favorite month to hold classes.
