Default New Hampshire non-res permit card: where is the 24/7 hotline number?

Could those of you whom have New Hampshire non-resident pistol/revolver permits please tell me if there is a 27/4 hotline number or ANY way for a PA law enforcer to quickly contact the administrator (NH State Police, I guess?) to determine if a license is lawfully issued or valid? Is this on your card anywhere?

Right now, NH and PA have reciprocity. Even if they didn't, any lawfully issued permit is valid in PA for car carry. How does a person defuse a situation where an officer balks at the inability to verify information?

Theres no requirement in PA law for the other states to have a 24/7 number. Only after the NH+PA agreement was sign did PA create a 24/7 number of our own.

That NH license is good unless expired or revoked.

It would be the up to that officer to prove it is invalid otherwise - until then, it is as good as a PA license and he/she can go F him/herself.

I thought states just generally created them out of perceived necessity (not that I know how that would be authorized).

We know that generally involves the citizen suffering abuse and spending money...in the end requiring the citizen instead having to provide proof of many things.

It's good and interesting to know there is no 24/7 number, then.

That NH license is good unless expired or revoked.
Because a permit is revoked (a license or permit being the permission by the state), there can be a lull where a person may retain a card representing a permit although their permission has been revoked by the specific government. That is just something to note where there is an absence of method to verify coupled with an overzealous police force who will find any reason they can to be invasive.

NH may have a verification number(not on mine), but it may not be published to the public or on the license. Which is how most states do it.

If that officer feels the need to check - its really up to him/her to do the research in a very timely fashion to avoid unlawful arrest/detainment violations.

Unless he suspects you of a crime or suspects the license to be invalid - that NH license is your property(and/or NH's) so he has no authority to seize it and a valid date on the face is proof enough of legal coverage.

You would think that there would have to be some way to (almost) instantly check on any other state's permit/license to carry 24/7.

With the photoshop skills some people have and high quality laser printers and cameras, many folks could whip up an official looking permit/license pretty easily.

And even if this fake is not exactly like the real thing, what are the chances that a LEO would know what any other state's permit looks like?

Why? PA has issued the same concealed licenses for 50-100 years until HB1717 of 2005 required a 24/7 verification number and central database be established - verification was never a problem before. It was only established because us carry folks asked for it so we could get VA to sign with us.
