Default 2015 Great American Outdoor Show in Harrisburg

Thinking of going to this show next month. Anyone go last year and can provide some feedback? Good show? Do you need more than a day?

    Anyone going?

Park at Bass Pro in the Harrisburg mall and they will shuttle you over for free. Makes parking a breeze.

    Buy tickets prior to arrival......

Great show last year, very crowded. Love all the gun manufacturers. Leave early, parking can be a bitch. I'm going down mid week or when weather permits.

Only from the whiny bitch antis that live in and around Harrisburg.

I love that we twist their panties into knots.

Seriously-- I've gone every year and this makes the show for me (tried it for the first time last year). The worst part was waiting 5 minutes when I left the show to wait for another bus.

I think we're doing it this way this year. Last year we were there the last day. It snowed and we had to walk almost to HACC to get the car across an already icy parking lot covered in snow. Would rather take the shuttle from BP. Shorter walk to the car and we're gonna end up there after the show anyway.

    THIS IS GOOD ADVICE!

Last year it took 1 hr to get to HBG, another 1 hr to get from the interstate to the parking above the farm show. Did not have time to see it all by the time we got in! If you collect information (catalogs etc), take a backpack.

How is it different from a gun show?

It's nothing like a gun show. It's more like Shot Show or the NRA convention. It's full of cool guns you can't buy and more print material than you can reasonably carry.

Now if you want to buy other outdoor stuff or book an outfitter, see boats, recreational vehicles, bug out vehicles, log cabins and a host of other shit, then go.
