1911 factory mags suck ass, so we buy Wilson combat some other reliable brand.

AR-15 Govt mags suck ass so we buy P-Mags

Glock mags are fucking awesome, so we buy some cheap knock off mags that might be ok? Yes, that's what I will do.

I'm more excited about this from CDNN:

The floorplate AND the insert, for $8? I'll just have to get me a few of those...

As long as the floor plates are easy to get off i will buy them.... OEM Gen 4 Glock floor plates are harder to separate than a shy virgins knees. I had scars on my hands from fighting to get them off....
    (the floor plates...not the panties...)

I was just reading through the comments on the youtube video and thought this guy has life all sorts of figured out.

I think I would rather buy a KCI magazine for 5-7 dollars, half the price and metal lined. I can put a Glock OEM spring in it for another 7 dollars and beat the price of the Magpul 17 Pmag.
He is defiantly a thinker not a stinker.

I'm not buying a mag just to have to replace parts on it to prevent breakage. If I'm putting a factory spring and base pad on it, I'll just buy the factory mag.

I'm pretty good on full size Glock mags (if these were G19 mags I'd be more interested at present), so I'll just wait and see how it goes. If they prove to be equal to factory mags in reliability, I'll buy a few.

As for the removal of old base pads on factory Glock mags, I personally found that a pair of pliers and a rag helps a lot. No tool marks and the base pops right off when the sides of the mag are squeezed.

As for what I'd like to see a company do in 9mm Glock mags, here's my desire:

Make a 9mm mag that's the same length as the 22 round .40 mag. Should be real simple for Glock to whip together. I'm able to carry the 22 rounders daily with my current system, and it's not a pain to do so. The 33 rounders, not so much.

So there, Magpul or Glock, get to it!

If Magpul is setting the retail price at $15.95 you will probably be able to buy them for cheaper than that.

I have about 30 USGI mags, and they run great.
Most of them are Colt 30round, NH, Okay mags, and Center Industry mags.
Never had a problem and Ive run them hard too.
