Default New pistol, Pittsburgh born, bred and made

New pistol manufacturer is releasing a new pistol, made in PA. I know a guy who shot it a while ago, and had nothing but good things to say about it....

Looks like a Glock and a Ruger SR9c made love and produced that...

I already hate the slide lock/release. It's too shrouded.

    Looks awkward to handle.
I'm only here for the wood c-rings.

    Interesting.

Nothing really to add without actually handling it.
Visually, it is more appealing than a lot of others - well, except for the tacky logo.

Kinda what kills it for me also. Don't like billboards on my firearms. The warning Ruger puts on theirs drives me nuts.

Yeah, that and the logo itself - it's cheesy. As a graphic designer I qualify myself as an authority on the subject and there will be no questioning my judgement on this matter.

I "like" the "NITE" portion, but the "crosshairs" part is just dumb and doesn't flow with the rest of the design. Plus I want to puke when people think they are being "creative" by using alternative spellings for words.

I'd like to spend some time on the range with one. If we judged guns based on looks, Glock would be fucked.

    Indeed.

I think the new handgun looks nice otherwise, but looks don't mean squat if it doesn't it well in your hand.
