Yea, pretty much my thinking, too. 40 S&W is a little soft, here, as well. I do believe all of our PD, SD, and the investigators all carry P226 9mm's with LE grade ammo. I doubt the stippole job will hurt, much, if it is nicely done. So many Glock heads look to do that, anyway, so it may not even be an issue, at all. 40 S&W? It's just too much recoil for too little return in stopping power. I'd take a fast, hard hitting 115 gr 9mm, with less recoil, any day........ah hell, wait...this isn't a caliber bashing thread. My bad.
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

I am with the group going for it to be converted. You like the grip, stick
    with it.

Convert it if you like it; ditch it if you wouldn't do the same work on your next pistol

Thanks guys, pretty much what I was thinking but figured I'd see what others thought. I know any .40 is harder than heck to get rid of anymore so conversion did seem the best route. Still have a G22 that'll be a pain.

Heres a shot of the work I did to it, not the most professional stipple but still not the worst I saw ever either.

    Nice stipple work.

I also +1 to convert it. The lone wolf conversions are stout well made barrels, and worthy of conversion. Watch here and eBay gunbroker and riverofguns.com for ppl selling used LW conversion barrels and jump on it. If you love it, replace the ejector cheap, If you don't love it you can resell the conversion easily and still have a serials matching g27 to sell, trade, lament etc.

Thanks! Was actually a fun project, haha I wish I could stumble on cheap ones more often to practice on but oh well. I'll be getting the conversion parts and keeping an eye out on broker or ebay for complete uppers just in case, though for some reason sellers usually list them for almost the price of the whole gun.
