Question Do I Need To Change My LTCF Address?

As some of you may well already know, and for those who don't, we recently had a house fire. Our residence is in Chester County and that is the county in which I received my LTCF from. Our temporary house very likely will be in Montgomery County and I was curious if I need to change my address on my LTCF? I am not changing my address on anything else and will be picking the mail up from the post office.

    Thanks
    Shawn

No. Most say to send a letter to your Sheriff to update your address so you get the renewal reminder letter. Mine doesn't send reminder letters so I wouldn't bother.

Thanks guys, I'm just trying to cover my ass. I literally just renewed my LTCF and hopefully, on my knees praying, we'll be back in our house in six months.

I changed my address on my LTCF like 3 years after I moved. They didn't care/ didn't really even need to do it. Just actually renewed my LTCF today and took a friend to get her 1st. Prayers that your house is back up soon. Be well.

The main reason to notify the Sheriff of a change of address is in case you get revoked. The Sheriff is only required to send the notice to the address on file. You're still revoked, even if you don't get the letter.

In your case, it's a temporary move, and you will still be checking the mail coming to your 'on file' address, so I wouldn't worry about it.
