Any Process Needed When Buying Gun Parts?
I have a g23 and recently purchased a new barrel that shoots 9mm. Do I have to do any kind of registering with this addition ? I am a Pennsylvania resident.

Re: Any Process Needed When Buying Gun Parts?
Under United States law, the receiver is the actual firearm itself, and as such it is the controlled part. So enjoy the barrel.

Re: Any Process Needed When Buying Gun Parts?
Also there is no registration in PA. When you buy a new handgun there is a record of the sale which is a type of pseudo registration. It is technically not a registration though because if you move from out of state there is no declaration requirement or anything for legally purchased handguns. We would like to see this database gone. Long guns do not have registration or a record of sales in PA.
