New IWI Uzi Pistol for 2015
Looks like IWI is getting serious about the US market. We've got the Tavor. The Galil and Jericho pistol are on the way and now the Uzi pistol.

Looks like it uses regular Uzi magazines, which is good, plenty of surplus mags around. And the pistol brace looks right and doesn't look goofy in proportion to the gun.

Re: New IWI Uzi Pistol for 2015
I've always had a warm spot in my heart for the Uzi. Maybe because it's the gun of my fellow tribesfolk. I was looking at an NFA Uzi pistol at Trop's about a month ago. It's a heavy beast. Still...cool.
These new IWI Uzis are bit pricey for what is basically a novelty. Walther/Umarex makes an Uzi clone in .22lr. Both pistol and carbine models. They seem to get decent reviews. I held the carbine at Trop's and thought the folding stock was uncomfortably long. I haven't seen the pistol version yet, but if it's the same feel as the 9mm Uzi, I'd go that route. At $350, they're a third of the price to own. Just need to find some damn .22lr...

Looks like they are trying to make this one way more comfortable then the original. I wonder how it will work out.

Re: New IWI Uzi Pistol for 2015
IWI has some compelling products but they charge just so much money for them. Just for the conversion kit to make the Tavor shoot 9mm they want nearly $1000, the Galil is even worse at nearly $2000 for an improved AK. The UZI pistols are neat but you're getting a heavy, $1300 pistol. You can buy a $500 Glock, get some 33 round magazines and get the same firepower in a lighter/cheaper package.
I agree, I wish they made an "original" model with the cocker on top.Sanity, yours if you can keep it.....

I wonder if I'll get to see one. So much vaporware in guns.

Wow is that ugly. The price is outrageous. Even if that is MSRP and they sell in store for $100-$200 less it is still too much for that little thing. Don't care who makes it.
Plus that rail is just hiddeous.
